<p>Metalships and Docks Shipyard has built a <strong>freezer trawler</strong> for the Greenlandic Shipowner, based in Nuuk, Niisa Trawl Aps. The vessel built in steel with 15 tones <strong>aluminum superstructure</strong> has specialized designed to navigate the cold waters of Greenland.</p>
<p>The C. 298, called REGINA C, has a length of 80 m and a beam of 17 m. Its base of operations will take place in the Barents Sea where it will dedicate to the fishing of shrimp and other species as well as their process. For this, the vessel has a processing plant equipped with the most modern and automated machinery on the market, large warehouses in which to store the catches until arrival in port and an interior rating to accommodate 32 crew members.</p>
<h2>The aluminum superstructure of C. 298</h2>
<p>This aluminum superstructure weights <strong>15 tonnes</strong> and forms by a single deck with a wheelhouse and mast.</p>

<p>The superstructure of this freezer trawler makes of marine aluminum alloy sheet EN AW 5083 H116, a typical type of aluminum used in this vessel part.</p>
<p>AISTER has waterfront facilities, direct access to the sea so we could send the aluminum superstructure by the sea in a single block to the shipyard Metalships and Docks.</p>
<p>In addition to the aluminum superstructure, in AISTER we also have made the works of ship supply of all the mooring elements installed on board the vessel REGINA C. Among there are bits, guides, etc.</p>
<h2>More than 30 years working for sea workers</h2>

<p>With a marine-grade steel hull and an <strong>aluminum superstructure</strong>, manufactured by highly qualified AISTER staff, the ship has two main advantages: its innovative propulsion system that allows increasing the power of navigation in areas where there is a lot of ice or adverse weather conditions and this vessel has an automatic processing plant which allows the selection, cooking and freezing process with only 5 workers.</p>

<p>The freezer trawler MARKUS will catch shrimp in the cold waters of Greenland: Specifically, in the waters of West Greenland, East Greenland and in the Canadian archipelago Svalbard. The C. 715 can sail with 33 crew on board during the period of the campaign. It&#8217;s equipped with cabins, mess rooms, living rooms, conference room, games room, laundries, hospital, etc. and for the storage of shrimps, the vessel has a freezing capacity of 200 tons per day.</p>
<h2>The MARKUS aluminum superstructure</h2>
<p>Its total weight is 26 tons and is made up of two large decks: bridge and tween deck.</p>

<p>The trawler&#8217;s superstructure is manufactured from EN AW 5083 H111 marine grade aluminum alloy plate. AISTER also has direct access to the sea, allowing it to ship the superstructure to the CNP Freire Shipyard as a single piece.</p>
