Race Course Castrelo do Miño
The Nautical Club of Castrelo do Miño is located in the southest of O Ribeiro region, near to Ourense (15 minutes) and Vigo (over 45 minutes). It's the nautical center of reference in the interior of Galicia thanks to its water surface reservoirs and its complete facilities that meet the ideal conditions for the practice of water sports.
Race Course of national interest
The conditions that Castrelo do Miño meets for the practice of rowing are magnificent since the place has many km of navigable river and an official race course with Sistema Albano. This, together with the facilities of the club, has been the setting for many regattas and competitions of national interest for many years. In the waters of this reservoir there are concentrations of prestigious rowing, sailing and canoeing teams.
These facilities, built by AISTER in 2003, have floating aluminum docks and a system of buoys moored with concrete anchors. In addition, the facilities of the club also include a yacht club, promenade, sports centre and open spaces with a children’s area.
