The shipyard in Moaña has just delivered two of the four units ordered by the Andalusian Agency for Agricultural and Fisheries Management through a public tender process.
The remaining units are currently under construction and will be delivered in September.
As planned for the summer of 2023, AISTER has delivered the first and second of the four patrol boats ordered by the Regional Government of Andalusia to the Moaña shipyard through a public bidding process less than a year ago. These are also the first units of the MZ12 range designed for fisheries inspection work, marking a new milestone for AISTER in the evolution of the MZ vessels.
Measuring 11.38 meters in length and featuring a deep-V aluminum hull, these boats offer optimal hydrodynamics and can exceed 40 knots of top speed, powered by two 350 HP outboard engines.
They are also equipped with shock-mitigating seats, ensuring comfortable and safe navigation at high speeds; a GPS-based position-holding system; and a joystick control system for easy docking and excellent maneuverability in all directions from the cabin, which offers 360º visibility and is outfitted with the most advanced electronic systems.
The completion of this project marks a new milestone for AISTER, particularly in the development of the MZ12 vessel line — the result of years of work in designing and building this type of boat, which is now a leader in its sector.
The delivery of these first two units — TARTESOS UNO and TARTESOS DOS — took place at the end of August, and the remaining two will be delivered throughout September.
