Fireboats for firefighting

These lightweight, strong and durable boats can operate in the toughest weather. The shape of the hull ensures stability, providing increased comfort for the crew as they work, and flexibility, allowing berthing and mooring manoeuvres inside the ports, as well as the ability to provide support and act as tugs for boats in emergencies.

Equipped to provide a rapid-response and with lengths up to 30 m, our fireboat designs have a comfortable bridge equipped with cutting-edge technology, including navigation and vision systems with thermal and infrared imaging, a powerful tool for night search operations and firefighting missions.

Equipped with dynamic positioning

Rescue workers and firefighters can use the screens to identify the main sources of heat or combustion and focus their efforts on tackling the blaze. The boats also have an unlimited water supply pumped directly from the sea or through on-deck units loaded with a mix of seawater and foam compound.

Their combination of side engines provides a dynamic positioning system that aids firefighting thanks to a GPS coordinate system that anchors the boat to the spot chosen by the crew.

Fireboats smallest and larges

The smallest fireboats are between 7 and 12 m long and are fast enough to quickly arrive on the scene of an accident. In addition to their speed, our fireboats have large, spacious, walk-around decks that provide safe and easy access to the operations area, allowing the crew to safely concentrate on putting out the fire as quick as possible.

Our larger aluminium fireboats, with lengths between 13 and 30 m, are used for putting out fires in buildings or large boats. They are equipped with protective measures, such as fire-resistant glass, sprinkler systems that allow water to be sprayed on the fireboat itself, and the flexible technology for the installation of custom systems.

Each geographic area has its own climate characteristics and AISTER works closely with Shipowners to deliver products that meet their needs. We only work with the highest quality materials, which means our fireboats and all our other aluminium boats can be certified by DNV-GL, Bureau Veritas, ABS, Lloyds or any other Classification Society required by the Shipowner.
