AISTER makes progress on the construction of the new HS35 patrol boat series for the Guardia Civil

The shipyard is working on the build of three units of this new model to meet the operational requirements of the Maritime Service of the Guardia Civil (Servicio Marítimo de la Guardia Civil). Delivery is scheduled for the final quarter of the year.

At AISTER, we continue to add high-value projects for the security forces. On this occasion, we are deeply involved in drafting a new contract for the Civil Guard’s Maritime Service, which includes the construction of three HS35 patrol boats.

A redesigned concept for interception

The HS35 was created as a new development in our aluminium vessel catalogue. Moving beyond the traditional rigid inflatable boat (RIB) concept, this design—nearly 12 metres in length overall—has been conceived to deliver the sea-keeping performance of a larger vessel in an agile, fast-response format.

The goal of the project is to provide the crew with a modern, safe working platform tailored for high-intensity patrols:

• Protection and comfort: Features an ergonomic enclosed cabin with 360-degree perimeter visibility, designed to protect personnel during complex manoeuvres and extended shifts.
• Agility and poise: Combines high operational manoeuvrability with great structural stability, which is key to interception and coastal surveillance missions.

Delivery scheduled for the final quarter

The build of the HS35s is entering its final stages at our yard, with delivery to the Guardia Civil expected before the end of the year.

With this project, AISTER consolidates its position as a specialized shipyard in aluminium naval design and construction for tactical and maritime security missions.
