High-speed aluminium interceptor
The RAL 1100 Interceptor offers full manoeuvrability at high speeds and ensures high autonomy, thanks to its hydrodynamics and energy efficiency, to facilitate interception tasks. A perfect vessel for the most demanding operations.

This boat is designed with a deep-V hull and hydrodynamics studied to offer high speeds in a stable and predictable way, thanks to the exclusive hull shapes. The high-speed aluminium interceptor also allows for medium and pre-planing speeds with low trim, giving very good visibility for the crew in all sailing conditions.
The reliability of the high-speed aluminium interceptor is demonstrated at high speeds in turns, controlling even one-metre waves without any noticeable impact transmission. The structure is certified for wave heights of 4 metres and has been approved by Lloyd’s Register.
The interior design is focused on lightness, with a centre console cockpit. The wheelhouse is equipped with full console and navigation equipment, with a range of up to 55 miles by radio communications. The ergonomics have been carefully studied for optimum comfort and safety for all crew members, with Ullman cushioned Jockey seats, ideal for the pursuit of this type of operation.
The boat has a large working area on deck, easy boarding areas with steps at bow and stern, removable bulwarks for easy access to the water, safe working space with all-round railing and multiple handhold points, self-emptying deck with ample drainage areas.
What is the range of the high-speed interceptor?
This boat offers a very good autonomy so that it can operate for hours. This is achieved thanks to very low fuel consumption in relation to other similar vessels, which allows operation at a greater distance from the coast and for longer periods of time. Fundamental in interdiction tasks.
The perfect combination of propulsion and weight of the vessel, as well as the size of the tanks, makes it the perfect vessel for demanding operations.
Controlled manoeuvrability
The design of the high-speed aluminium interceptor is intended to optimise ergonomics during sailing, so that vertical accelerations at the helm are minimised. It also offers very good manoeuvrability with controlled tacking at very high speeds. The boat enjoys very good acceleration times.
Interceptor made of aluminium, unsinkable and highly resistant
The high-speed aluminium interceptor is manoeuvrable, offers high autonomy and ensures crew comfort, not to mention safety.
The naval aluminium hull construction guarantees the strength of the structure and the durability of the boat. It is also compartmentalised into five watertight spaces below deck, making it an unsinkable boat.
The boat is also equipped with a polyethylene foam fender with polyurethane coating. The high-speed aluminium interceptor is fitted with hinged sides to allow access to the launch for the response teams.
A milestone in AISTER’s history
The RAL 1100 is a milestone in AISTER’s shipbuilding history. The interceptor is part of the RAL range, predecessor of the MZ launch line. It is the latest hull design evolution of the RAL range, which has evolved in design to the new MZ series.
